Substitutes Teachers Needed

NBCSD is in need of substitute teachers for the 2026/2027 school year.
The following documents are required to become a substitute teacher.
- Standard Teaching Application
- Current Federal FBI FIngerprint Clearance (Act 114)
- State Criminal History (Act 34)
- Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form (Act 24)
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form (Act 168 of 2014)
- Valid PA Teaching Certification
- Copy of College Transcripts
- PRAXIS Scores
Please submit all documents to Mrs. Stacy Pressel, Director of HR, 152 NBC Drive, Loysburg, PA 16659.

If you are not a certified teacher but hold a bachelor's degree you can register for an upcoming training at the Appalachia IU8 to become a substitute teacher!
